8 Day Samburu Game Reserve, Sweetwater’s, Lake Nakuru, and Maasai Mara

Morning & Afternoon:

• Early morning and late afternoon game drives to maximize wildlife sightings, including elephants, lions, leopards, and the endangered Beisa oryx.
• Visit the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline for the reserve's wildlife, and observe crocodiles and hippos.
• Optional cultural visit to a Samburu village to learn about their customs and traditions.

Evening:

• Relax at the lodge with a sundowner and enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.

Morning:

• After breakfast, depart for Sweetwater’s, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy (4-hour drive).
• Arrive in time for lunch at the camp/lodge overlooking the plains.

Afternoon:

• Visit the Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimpanzees.
• Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five, especially the endangered black rhinos.

Evening:

Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge

Morning:

• Depart Sweetwater’s after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 5-hour drive).
• Arrive in time for lunch at a lodge overlooking the lake.

Afternoon:

• Explore the park on a game drive, known for its flamingo population and sightings of white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and leopards.
• Visit Baboon Cliff for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes.

Evening:

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning:

• After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve (approximately 6-hour drive).
• Stop en-route for a picnic lunch and enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley.

Afternoon:

• Arrive at your lodge/camp in Maasai Mara and relax before an evening game drive.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge/camp

• Full-day game drives with packed picnic lunch to explore the expansive plains of the Maasai Mara, renowned for its abundant wildlife and the iconic Great Migration (seasonal).
• Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and a variety of bird species.

Optional:

• Balloon Safari over the Mara plains for a bird's-eye view of the wildlife, followed by a champagne breakfast (additional cost).

Evening:

• Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

• After breakfast, depart for Nairobi with an optional stop at Narok for souvenirs (approximately 5-6 hour drive).
• Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.

• Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home or an optional overnight stay in Nairobi for city exploration.
