Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

The journey takes about 8-9 hours (approximately 400 km) from Entebbe/Kampala, with stops along the way for refreshments, photos, and a light lunch.

- Overnight stay at a lodge: Options include Buhoma Lodge, Nkuringo Safari Lodge, or Gorilla Safari Lodge, all of which offer stunning views of the forest and high standards of comfort.
- Evening:
- Dinner and Relaxation: Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge and relax before your exciting day of gorilla trekking the following morning.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Early Morning:
- Gorilla Trekking Adventure: After an early breakfast, you will embark on your gorilla trek. A local guide will lead you through the dense forest, where you will track one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek may take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once you find the family, you'll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat for an hour.
- Gorilla Viewing: Experience the magic of seeing these majestic creatures up close and observe their social behavior, interactions, and gentle nature. It’s an unforgettable experience.
- Lunch: After the trek, enjoy a packed lunch in the forest or return to your lodge for a relaxing meal.
- Afternoon:
- Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park: After lunch, depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take around 2.5 to 3 hours (approximately 120 km). Along the way, you may have opportunities to spot local wildlife such as baboons, antelope, and birds.
- Evening:
- Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park: Check into your accommodation for the night. A lodge like Mweya Safari Lodge or Katara Lodge will offer spectacular views of the Kazinga Channel and the surrounding parklands.
- Dinner and Relaxation: Enjoy dinner and relax after the long journey. Depending on arrival time, you may also choose to take an evening game drive for a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Morning:
- Early Morning Game Drive: Wake up early for a game drive in the park’s famous savannah. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, and more. Your guide will help spot wildlife and give you insights into the park's ecosystems. Depending on the season, you may also witness predators such as lions or leopards.
- Midday:
- Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel: After your morning game drive, head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat safari. The boat ride offers incredible views of hippos, crocodiles, and bird species like pelicans, kingfishers, and herons. The channel is a great place to get up close to wildlife, including large herds of elephants drinking at the water’s edge.
- Lunch:
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge or a picnic in the park, taking in the sights and sounds of the surrounding nature.

- Evening:
- Drop-off at Entebbe/Kampala: Arrive at your accommodation or the airport for your onward flight.
